The exhibition was a meeting point for the hospitality sector in Turkey, which is expected to receive a 24-billion-dollar investment in hospitality& accommodation till 2023. Hostech by TUSİD exhibition, where our country had the opportunity to share its experience and innovations with the world, was organized at an area of 40 thousand sqm with the participation of 350 exhibitor companies. 

Leading Brands Joined  The Fair

Leading companies of the hospitaliy sector such as Electrolux, Arzum, Öztiryakiler, Tolon Machine, Yazıcılar Machine, Tolkar Machine, Türkay Plastic, Özen Design, Metalsan, Makpa Crystal, Inoksan, Fagor, Efe Mobilya, Anadolu Kuzine, Alfemo Yatpa and Aktürk has joined the Fair.

Visitors from more than 28 countries visited the Fair

Austria, Germany, Syria, United Kingdom, Iran, Holland, United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Commonwealth of Independent States, Hong Kong, Polland, Portugal, Sweden, Iraq, Switzerland, Taiwan, USA, Tunisia, Morocco were the visitor countries of the Hostech by Tusid Fair.

 

Societe Syrienne Des Hoteliers (SYRITEL) from Syria, Israel Hotel Association (IHA) from Israel, Romanian Hotel Industry Federation (FIHR) from Romania, Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA) from Bulgaria, Greek Hotels Association from Greece were the leading associations which ensured effective participation for the fair.The 160 buyers from Middleeast, Greece and Bulgaria visited the fair.

Purchasing authorities of the Major companies were in the Fair

Despite the effects of global economic crisis, trade volume was over than prescripted volume.The purchasing responsibles from 27 companies such as JOHNSON ELECTRIC from Switzerland, DIVANI COLLECTION CARAVEL ATHENS from Greece, AMBER PACKAGING IND.LLC from UAE, SAP BRL took part in the Hostech by Tusid Fair.

Exhibitor Countries of the Fair

Germany, Italy, Russia, China, Syria, Greece were the exhibitor countries of the Hostech by Tusid Fair which is held in every two years time.

Turkey`s Kitchen Competition

The First National Chef` Competition which is aimed to support Turkey`s gastronomy sector,was held in four categories and was shown great interest.The first winner of the Restaurants category was Haci Abdullah Restaurant, second place winner was Osmani and the third place winner was Hasırlı Ottoman Kitchen Restaurant. The first winner of the ` The five star hotel pastry cookers` category was Sheraton Istanbul, the second place winner was Polat Renaissance and the third place winners were Agaoglu My City Hotel and Titanic Asia Hotel.The first winner of the ` Five Star Chef` category was Ceylan Intercontinantal Hotel, the second place winner was Sheraton Atakoy Hotel and the third place winner was Moevenpick Hotel.The first winner of the ` Chef Schools` category was Abant Izzet Baysal University,the second place winner was Kucukcekmece IMKB Anatolian Hotel Business and Tourism Vocational High School,the third place winners were Kucukkoy Girls` Vocational High School and Beykent University Chefs` Vocational School.
